RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] cells in HAMT modeling

I’ve only few experience on HAMT but as far as I understood E+ divide the material in cells according it’s criteria with “thinner” cells near to the border consequently cells are never equal.

On simulation is necessary explicitly ask for the results on each cell on “output:variable”, obviously the number must be coherent with the number of cells produced automatically by E+. I’ve never found problems in this way

Asunto: [EnergyPlus_Support] cells in HAMT modeling

Dear all,

in the engineering reference it is written that "each material split up further into cells through its depth"

1- i want to ask if the cells divide the material into equal parts or the cells become intense and smaller in size near the corners

2- in the end of simulation i checked the eio file and it was reported that 38 cells were placed. but in csv file only 28 cells RH and temperature values were reported.

thanks

ozgur gocer
