This is a common occurrence with any heat and moisture
calculation. At the start of the calculation, the layers of the material
are not in balance with the boundary conditions. There is no history. If
you want to run one month, you should start several days before. The warm
up is using only the first day in energyplus. Some heavy weight materials
may take months or years to balance. Ned

Behalf Of Abdul Murad Zainal Abidin Hello, I
have send an e-mail regarding the above sometime ago but there was no feedback. I
have run monthly and annual simulation simulation using HAMT example file
with the preset weather file. I noticed that there was a margin of error for
the outdoor conditions (outdoor dry-bulb and outdoor relative humidity) between
monthly (e.g. March or November) and the annual (March or November sections
from the one year simulation) output file. These error consistently occur on
the first hour (01:00) on the fiirst day of every month. Why must there be some
margins of error when I use the sam weather file? Thank
you.
