You can look at the input output pdf of the help --> Thermal zone Description Geometry -->Zone thermal outputs.

to get energy results you must apply a HVAC system (for example HVAC Template: IdealLoadsAirSystem along with HVACTemplate:Thermostat) and at the output section to specify the variables (of the above pdf section) you want. for monthly loads you can go to the section Output: Variable

for an energy balance you need the Zone Air Balance Variables (kWh)

Hello, I'm doing an analysis of thermal load with EnergyPlus, but I need to know that gives me output variable the values of these thermal loads in watts or joule. You need to know the values in watts or joules of heating and cooling loads for a zone.
