[EnergyPlus_Support] modeling water flows

Hello All:

I'm trying to get a solid grasp on the modeling capabilities of EnergyPlus pertaining to the issue of water consumption in buddings. The EERE website states that the program can model various "energy flows and water in buildings".

My primary question: Does the software model domestic water consumption ie. water usage from end uses such as faucets, bathing, kitchens, and laundry? Also, does it model process water consumption from HVAC systems such as cooling towers?

If it does, or doesn't model water consumption, does it as least model the amount of energy needed to heat hot water and convey water through building pipes?
