[EnergyPlus_Support] Chilled ceilings - construction configuration

For chilled ceiling panels, what is most appropriate?

1. Conditioned Zone with LoTempRad HVAC, Ceiling comprising of Construction:InternalSource, *seperate zone defining ceiling void*.

2. Conditioned Zone with LoTempRad HVAC, Ceiling comprising of Construction:InternalSource which *includes the air gap denoting the ceiling void*.

For setup 1. does anybody have any thoughts regarding convective air exchange between conditioned zone and ceiling void? I have been using ZoneMixing, but would AFN be more appropriate?
