[EnergyPlus_Support] Solar radiation on a sloped surface

Hi all,

I would like to evaluate the solar radiation incident on a sloped surface of 1m2 located on the top of my building.

I modeled the surface using the â??Shading:Site:Detailedâ?? object and in order to obtain the result I specified â??Surface Ext Solar Incidentâ?? in the â??Output:Variableâ?? object. However, my surface is not appearing in the results (cvs file).

About this I have two questions:

1)      Is this problem being caused by the type of surface which I specified (shading) and in this case should I use another type of EnergyPlus object to model my 1m2 surface?

2)      Is it possible to obtain the results only for the sloped plane and not for all surfaces in my model (walls, windows, etc)?

Thank you very much for the help,

Paulo Ara.
