Mario, I have. But the issue here is that i want to apply different coefficients, other than the ones available in E+. As far as i know, DB will not provide me such thing. I've read through the EMS, and it specifically says that it is possible to define and apply custom made algorithms for the convective coefficients, wich is exactly what i need. Pedro. If you export the IDF you will see that each surface hase it´s own "pair" of superficial coeficients. Could I get any hint on where to start looking for information on what exactly is this EMS feature, what aditional tools (if any) i need to have and how to start learning how to use it? I'm rather in the blank about this, could use some guidance on where to look, thank you for your help!! > > Pedro > > To: EnergyPlus_Support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > From: brent.griffith@... > Date: Fri, 2 Jul 2010 14:10:20 -0600 > Subject: RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Surface Convection Algorithms > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Work is underway to overhaul the > convection coefficient algorithms and there will be many more options available > in the next version. > > > > Currently, the EMS > feature includes actuators for surface convection coefficients.
