I have a question about PV Simple performance.
I’ve tested different cases with a PV surface, which
is half fully shaded and the same PV surface split into two halves.
I don’t know why but the PV with its half fully shaded
performs better than a half of the PV (when PV panel is split into two halves);
13% difference.
I have attached the files that I have tested and drawing
that shows each model and results.
Could you please advise why these 2 cases described above do
not perform equally?
I would like to use the PV Simple for solar energy potential
assessment for different shading patterns from different adjacent buildings.
