[EnergyPlus_Support] ZoneCrossMixing and TimeStep

Dear EP users,
I am trying to simulate passive air exchange between 2 zones via ZoneCrossMixing. But I am getting error "forrtl: error (65): floating invalid".
I have found out that lowering Timestep helps. Lowering Timestep to value of 6 stops (EP crashes) the simulation in April, and lowering to value of 4 in July.
The simulation is successful when Timestep = 1.
But according to EnergyPlus manual lower values cause inaccuracies in calculations and minimum value of 20 is suggested (which, in my case, causes EP to crash during simulation at the start of January).
Does anybody know what goes wrong?
Thank you
