[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Schedule 10001 - Output Value is 1hr too early

Hi James,

Thanks again for taking an interest. I took great pains to define my occupation schedule for this project. I have a half hourly work day schedule for my occupation (fractional multipliers between 0 and 1) which are multiplied to the maximum occupation for each zone (which is the zone area of the facility area times the peak occupation for the facility as a whole.) I'm not going to go into the derivation of the schedule as it's another topic, but suffice to say that I get how occupation is set up.

My thought was...does e+ set up a minimum outdoor schedule somewhere in it's inner workings during auto-sizing using the occupation schedule used in the PEOPLE object?

I ask because I left the ODA controller the ability to throttle down to zero ODA granted, but both my zone and system sizing objects DEMAND a specific FLOW/ZONE Minimum ODA rate manually set AND a "always 1" schedule that I use in my fan object. I should always be getting my required Min. ODA rate...also at night!...also unoccupied!

I'm at home now, but will mail you the idf...it's huge but I'll point you to the first zone as an example.

Cheers,

Jean.
