[EnergyPlus_Support] Energyplus source code

Dear EnergyPlus support team,

Two years ago, one of my Lab members purchased a license to modify source codes(V3-0-0). I have those now, and I am trying to modify and create the source code for specific system.

1. Is there an expiration date about the license, Collaborative Developer?

2. I am using EP 6.0.0.023 version. Do I have to change all the source code in oder to apply them to new EnergyPlus version?

3. Or, Can I get a new source code from DOE without buying a new license?

Many thanks.
