Hi everyone,
I am just wondering how you all go about checking whether the results you are getting using Eplus are correct.
I have some test data which I want to compare my Eplus results with. The data is over a 3 week period. I can convert EPW files to xl and hence alter my EPW file to reflect the exact weather conditions in that period. Although my EPW files have cloud cover as an entry, these entries are all zero, so I suspect the solar radiation entry has already taken into account the cloud cover.
Weather data I have is temp, rh, ws,wd, and cloud cover. I know solar rad is very important. I can calculate the solar rad from the cloud cover data (using an empirical relationship). Would I then substitute this with the global horizontal solar radiation data in the EPW file?
If anyone has any advice in this regard I would really appreciate it.
Many thanks
Julie
