Hi All,
I Attached  Energy Plus syntax highlighting for Notepad++ (Open Source and Freeware) 

This File Helps You to have Colorful theme for Editing Energy Plus Files (IDF,IDD,...) in Notepad++.

For installing at the Notepad++
1-View\User Define Dialogue ==>Create New => Import...(attached File)=> close window
2-Language\Energy Plus
