It is a documentation problem. The negative switch was never implemented. I suspect this was a feature in the original TRNSYS implementation that the developer did not end up actually implementing in the EnergyPlus version of the model. Only positive numbers are allowed and the feature indicated by the negative switch does not really exist. Thanks for pointing this out, we’ll get the documentation fixed.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] A bug in Transmittance Absorptance Produce (EuqvOne-Diode model)
In the Energy+ 6.0, the equivalent one-diode model is optional for PV generator.
There is one variable with the name "transmittance absorptane produce" to enable angle-dependant calculation.
In the input and output reference, it is stated that: this variable can be positive or negative to disable or enable the function.
However, in the idf editor, a negative value is not allowed.
Is this a bug? or my software problem?
