RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Re: converting EPW to CSV

It’s not outdated.  A TMY file uses weather data from many different years in order to compile a “typical” meteorological year.  Every year has different weather patterns; TMY data attempts to make a composite that is a good representation of “typical”.

Thanks Linda for the info. I noticed the weather data is outdated when converted into CSV format. The weather data is from 1991 till 1996!!

The easiest way is to use the EnergyPlus Weather Converter and save the EPW file as an "EnergyPlus CSV file".
