[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Primary/Secondary Hydronic Loops

Mike,

i am not sure i understand your questions.

A tank has user and source sides that can serve primary and secondary loops. EnergyPlus has objects for cold and hot water tanks.

A variable speed pump can throttle flow rates from zero to the maximuum. The maximum can be autosized or entered by user.

Hope this helps.

What about the resultant total dynamic head after the design is complete and all design restrictions have been taken into account? And what about DCV (Demand Control Ventilation? Can it adjust the building load as it relates to reduced ventilation loads? Sorry for the 20 questions. I'm just new to E+ and this users group.
