[EnergyPlus_Support] BCVTB problems
Hello:
I made a simple test between BCVTB and E+. First of all, an simple office model with three windows and blinds was created.
(1) In the BCVTB, I used matlab to output constant slat angles of the three blinds and then these angles were fed into E+ through external interface of E+. For example, the three slat angles are constantly 110, 90, 90. The timestep is set to 4. I run for one year and for each hour, the illuminance and energy consumption were outputted.
(2) For the separate E+ simulation, I just used the same model (The only difference is that the slat angles are fixed (110, 90, 90) and there is no external interface object). However, for some hours, the energy and illuminance values are exactly the same, but for many hours, there exist large differences.
In theory the results from the two runs should be the same because in BCVTB, I input the same angles as fixed angles in E+.
Does anyone know the possible reasons?
Thank you,
JH
