It means that when simulating the heating coil, the number (index) of the heating coil was passed to the simulate subroutine incorrectly. The number of the heating coil is determined by the order in which the coils are defined in the input file, from 1 to NumHeatingCoils. Without seeing your input file, and that this is the first time I have seen this warning reported by a user, I would think that the name of one of the heating coils is incorrect (or inconsistent with other inputs). You might have names for two heating coils switched? The type of heating coil and the name of the heating coil are inputs to branches and parent objects (e.g., Furnace). Check all your inputs regarding the heating coils to make sure you entered the data correctly. You can also ask your question to the developers of E+ at: http://energyplus.helpserve.com/ The help desk would also need your input file. On 2/15/2011 10:14 AM, fm1n0 wrote:
