I want to know what will happen if i get a hole in the building like a open windows, i guess the indoor envionment will change depending of the weather conditions.

 

Can i do this?

what would be the purpose of simulating a hole?

solar - use a window
air - use ventilation, mixing or infiltration
other???

EnergyPlus can't model holes in surfaces so you should just comment out or remove that one.

I guess the problem was that the small one surface was not abble to discribe like Building Surface, so iIhad to make it like a fenestrion surface.
 
Now i get just one error:
 
** Severe  ** FenestrationSurface:Detailed="VOID SPACE SOUTH" has an opaque surface construction; it should have a window construction.
 
This space that i want to simulate is a void space, is like a windows but this one is open.
 
Would you give me some advice to do this.

Now go fix this surface - VOID SPACE SOUTH:

Then look at the 3rd vertex for the surface WALL EAST:
** Severe ** Suspected non-planar surface:"WALL EAST", Max "out of
line"=1.02916E-002 at Vertex # 3

Then go make your door or window a rectangle:
** Severe ** Suspected 4-sided but non-rectangular Window, Door or
GlassDoor:
** ~~~ ** Surface=WINDOWS SOUTH, Diagonal1=39.187, Diagonal2=39.245

Get it now?
