RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Low Ambient DX performance curve

Dear Alan,

Try turning the coil off via availability schedule during the cold weather hours.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Low Ambient DX performance curve

What steps would need to be taken to eliminate the low ambient temperature warnings for Unitary DX systems?

** Warning ** Coil:Cooling:DX:SingleSpeed "PSZ-AC 1_OFFICE COOLING COIL" - Air-cooled condenser inlet dry-bulb temperature below 0 C. Outdoor dry-bulb temperature = -0.60

The warnings suggest modifying the performance curves, so my first question is does anyone have modified performance curves that they have used? Secondly, without adding a heater is there a way to eliminate the warning or lower the low-ambient limit?
