Hello,
No, I didn't make any .deb file. All I've done is to try to install the file <http://seteplusv600023-lin-64.sh/>SetEPlusV600023-lin-64.sh. All the operations I've made are described in my first mail. I think that some links are not made or correctly made since the error output is: 
Missing Energy+.ini

Or I didn't installed properly the software. You managed to install it under ubuntu linux? Or maybe there are some specific operations that must be done for 64 bit linux?

Hello,

Yes, I'm running energyplus script from console. After running it it displays the error I've wrote about in my previous post. When I type in console energyplus --help it displays the same error message.

Are you using the runenergyplus script to run?
