Also keep in mind that, plenum zones in EnergyPlus should have "Ceiling Diffuser" assignment as Zone Inside Convection Algorithm. Required changes can be made under Thermal Zones and Surfaces >> Zone >> Zone Inside Convection Algorithm >>"Ceiling Diffuse". Check out if your errors are related to this field or not.

In E+, you can remove the plenum zone from Sizing:Zone and ZoneControl:Thermostat. After that, you can follow errors/warnings (if any) to further debug your idf.
