The wind pressure coefficients are used to calculate wind pressures on all
exterior surfaces. The exterior surfaces can have either operable windows or
closed windows. Therefore, you have to apply wind pressure coefficients to
all windows, no matter what are operable or closed.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Does pressure coefficient affects on the
closed openings?
Hello fellows
When I use Airflow network class, I should enter the wind pressure
coefficient for all the windows.
But in my model, most of windows are fixed(closed) and only some of them are
operable.
I calculated pressure coefficient values using CFD only for the operable
windows.
I suddenly wonder that pressure coefficient affects on the closed
windows(fixed windows).
I think when the opening is close, airflow rate can be calculated using
empirical power-law fomula. So the pressure coefficient is not used. But can
not sure what I thought is right or not.
If my thoght is right, I can skip caculating all the pressure coefficient
such a time consuming thing.
I hope that someone give me advice regarding this matter.
Thanks in advance.
Regards.
