it would help to see the error that you are getting. The first severe error in the file is the one that you should attempt to troubleshoot.

my blind guess is that you changed the chiller object out appropriately, but did not change the reference to the chiller object that occurs in the branch and PlantEquipmentList objects

Search the text file for instances of "chiller:"

Also you may need to create an additional steam / hot water loop to create the heat needed to power the absorption chiller. 

See the example file found in C:\EnergyPlus\ExampleFiles\AbsorptionChiller.idf for a working example of an absorption chiller
