Not sure what you mean by "How to plot nodes before you begin modelling?
An svg (spatial vector graphics) file is generated for the HVAC after each run. It shows the connections within each plant loop and between different loops.
What is not given in this svg diagram, which can also be deciphered with a text editor, are the node names.
