The main issue is that you are probably only interested in PMV values during times when the building is occupied, or at least the when HVAC is on and the thermostats are not in setback/setup. A monthly frequency for Output:Variable should be the correct average but is for all the hours of the month regardless of operating intent.
Output:Table:Monthly reports can be configured to produce averages for only those times when a second variable is non-zero and so can be used to obtain an average PMV for only times when the zone is occupied.

I would like to report a monthly average PMV in an excel data. I've tried it with the Output:Variable:Fanger PMV:monthly, but it comes out with the result of several huge numbers.But in the Output:Table:Monthly report is the range of PMV all right!
Could you tell me how do you output the average PMV? Or what could be wrong with my Output:Variable:Fanger PMV:monthly? Thanks!
