Dear Hayes,
Assuming that you have defined your building geometry and materials properly, you have two possibilities, I think:
· Check the InternalMass object.. You can add this object independently of geometry. All it does is add mass for the energy balance / heat transfer performed by E+. It does NOT get affected by incident solar radiation.
· The other possibility is to add walls to your model. These, of course, have mass which is defined by you and also have a location in the model. Thus, they ARE affected by incident solar, as are all floors and ceilings. (but they slow down calculations L)
