Do you mean can you have:

x.imf
## include y.imf

and
y.imf
## include z.imf?

I don't know.

If you would like to send me your files or a subset privately, I can try
to make sure that they work....

Later today, I can work on the path length problem.  It should be at
least 100 but may not be.  (100 is the standard length for anything
in EnergyPlus).
