That is not possible.  You should, however, set the shadowing calculation to single days.

It's saying it's transparent because it's looking at the values in your input file.  If you changed those 1 to 0, the warning would go away.  The important value is the value it's actually using during your simulation -- which  you said was okay.

If you are using V6.0.0.037 or later, it would also be better if you set those values to .5 as your initialization.
