Dear Development Team,
Why not change the E+ lexical analyzer in a next release such that it accepts all of: CR LF (\r\n dos), LF (\n UNIX) and CR (\r Mac)?
I often run into this problem when switching between windows and Linux and know how to fix it.
If E+ were my own code, I would simply adapt the input routine as suggested above to deal with the inconvenience.

There are utilities uploaded here in the Files area to do that.
ToDOS is the name, as I remember.
Some text editors (such as TextPad) can also be used.
