RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] ASHRAE 90.1 Heat Pump modeling

One more try…..

Has anyone modeled a heat pump system with the goal of matching a specific “HSPF”?

How about a DX cooling system to match a specific “SEER”?

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] ASHRAE 90.1 Heat Pump modeling

Dear Forum,

I have no clue how I might reasonably model a "HSPF" (Heating Season Performance Factor) of 7.4 for a "baseline" heat pump system. This appears to be much like a SEER for cooling, except E+ does not calculate it as part of a report.

Can anyone give me a clue?

Thanks in advance.
