[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Deletion of Schedules in new version of Open Studio

As others have suggested you can post additional questions on the OpenStudio forum. If you send your model to OpenStudio@xxxxxxxx we can also take a look at it, but I expect you are running into objects that are not yet supported in the beta version of OpenStudio 0.5.0.

The legacy version (1.0.6) imported mainly geometry and left other objects un-touched. The 0.5.0 beta version imports the entire model vs. letting some objects pass through. As a result un-supported objects don't pass through anymore. We are continually adding support for more objects. If you send us the file I can test it against our latest development build.

For now if BEopt generated models don't open correctly you may need to open it with the legacy version. As for the interface changes in 0.5.0; we introduced some pretty big enhancements to 0.5.0, and while much more powerful, it did require changes to the interface. We added a number of YouTube videos to introduce new tools, interface elements, and workflows related to 05.0
