You can compare the two systems simply by looking at the COP variation with load from the manufacturer's specification.
Simulation uses manufacturer's COP curve as well.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] LoadProfile:Plant for air systems
Dear all,
I would like to simulate two different air systems and compare the energy consumption without defining a zone.
I think LoadProfile:Plant could be the right solution, but it takes only account for water flow rates. Does anybody knows if is it possible to consider air flow rate and to couple it directly with an air system?
Or if is there any solution suitable for my case?
