Dear Markus,
As you know, this is a common configuration in Europe. The variations include AHU with only sensible cooling (no reheat) + Fancoils with latent and sensible cooling, AHU with latent and sensible cooling + Fancoils with only latent cooling, AHU + Fancoils both with only sensible cooling.
In my experience, even the last variant uses different chilled water temps, e.g. AHU cooling coils is fed 6 degC water, while the fancoils are fed 18 degC water. Usually, I couple the AHU directly on one of the demand branches of the Chilled Water Plant, and the sensible cooling system only indirectly using a thermal storage object that I use with thermal storage capacity or as a (very little water storage object) heatexhcanger (as the plate heatexchanger is not yet supported by eplus). The same goes for heating for different hot water temps via a waterheater:mixed object.
Alternatively, if you're using district heating or chilled water, create two seperate plants for the two temps.
As far as I know there is no consensus. And this is all fairly hard work. Coupling the Fancoils to the ODA and then setting ODA to zero still gives me headaches, but seams the easiest way.
I don't have any simple examples to share at this point, sorry.
