As far as I undersood from the Engineering Referenc of E+, that there are more than one method for calculating daylight;
- Method 1: Daylight calculation and;
- Method 2: DElight Daylight Calculation
in E+ manual there is a section about "DElight Daylight Factor Calculation Differences from EnergyPlus Detailed Methods", so is there is another third method which is the detailed one, or the detailed method is itself the 'Method 1:Daylight calculation'.
Estimating the inter reflectecd compnent of the daylight factore is illustrated in the Engineering Referenc of E+ that is based on the Split Flux metod, and estimating such compnent in the 'DElight Daylight Factor' is based on the radiosity method (this is what i understood) ...
I checked the example 'DElight-Detailed-ComparisonDElight' and I found that both calcaculated Daylight factors calculated for both methods are nearly the same, which makes me think that the interreflected daylight component in E+ is calculated only based on the split flux method ....
My question is the split flux method is the only method in E+ for estimatin the Interreflected Compnent of the daylight factor..
Thanks
