Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Cooling Coil Rated COP in HVACTemplate:System:Unitary

Hello,

The electrical power input includes the compressor power consumptions in Watts at the rated conditions and the condenser power consumptions in Watts.

Hi,

I read from the documentation that cooling coil rated COP is defined as the gross cooling coil capacity in watts divided by electrical power input in watts of the DX cooling coil unit.

Does the electrical power input of DX cooling coil unit refer to power input to compressor when compressing the refrigerant in the vapor-compression refrigeration cycle?
