Jean:

EnergyPlus does not opening control based on time duration. However, it is
possible to user EMS to override opening factors based on time duration.

In addition, what is a control algorithm in your mind?

In real life we don't see this peak because it is physically impossible to
fully open windows so quickly...all of them at once...to 100%. Is there a
way of retarding this? Could you suggest an available manager?
