Recently, I converted a v5 model to v7. Straight from the idf converter with no other changes incurred, the model now fails to converge in many zones.
Further, and more critically, for the purposes of energy calculations, the calculated heating and cooling loads have drastically increased. The heating load increased by a factor of 10.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem?
Changes I noticed the converter made were general formatting updates for the elements such as ventilation control, and changing the surface convection algorithms from simple to TARP.
