I have only one suguestion. Pay attention to the big thermal zones. The temperature that you calculate are for the middle of the zone. An airport could have very big zones so the result couldn't represent the reality. I recommend you to use a multinodes thermal code or a CFD simulation. Ameen,
i have not found problems with building geometry using EnergyPlus. i have used E+ to model a four-storey building with wider upper stories and side fins. The center of the building also projects out from the East and West end walls to enable daylighting with north facing windows. The buildngs in located in the southern hemisphere. I found that if the dimensions are such that the surfaces are not perfectly planar, then Open Studio will report warnings and automatically add new zones as it rectifies the idf for simulation. If you open that rectified idf with E+ again, you can see the new surfaces of the new zones, which may be deleted using E+ IDF-Editor. ooi --- In EnergyPlus_Support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "syrianboy2002" <syrianboy4ever@...> wrote: > > Just to explain, what I meant is building "the geometry" and "will I find any difficulties" I meant because of using theird party program will that affect the simulation in E+? > > --- In EnergyPlus_Support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "syrianboy2002" <syrianboy4ever@> wrote: > > > > Hello friends, > > I'm new at energy plus.
