RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] ZoneInfiltration:DesignFlowRate Flow/ExteriorArea vs Flow/ExteriorWallArea

Exterior area is all the outdoor surface. Wall exterior, only exterior wall, this is very usefull for energy standars. In France for example the infiltration value is given for the wall surface.

You can read the input output reference pg 478.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] ZoneInfiltration:DesignFlowRate Flow/ExteriorArea vs Flow/ExteriorWallArea

Hello,

My question concerns the ZoneInfiltration:DesignFlowRate Flow/ExteriorArea vs Flow/ExteriorWallArea option.

Does Flow/ExteriorArea include roof areas and/or floor areas along with wall areas?

And Flow/ExteriorWallArea is just the walls?

Thanks!

Lisa
