Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] EMS_Application_Guide

Richards  i set the plant loop set point temperature to 80C but in result i see it controls the inlet node of boiler in despite of i   set the plant loop set point temperature to 80C at outlet of boiler , do i wrong?

if i want to model  coil  heat exchanger that has two tube in heat exchager , one tube  of that connect to plant loop and another tube connect to domostic hot water , what i should use for simulation this heat exchanger?

Yes, but that's what the PlantLoop - Loop Temperature Setpoint Node Name input is meant to do. Of course you need a corresponding temperature scheulde placed on this node. So just set the plant loop set point temperature to 80C.

I would suggest you try an EMS program to see if it meets your needs. The calling point could be either AfterPredictorBeforeHVACManagers or InsideHVACSystemIterationLoop. You should try different calling points to learn their usage.

i put boiler in hot water plant that connect to water heater  and baseboard , i find that boiler will off whenever waterheater and baseboard thermostat reach to it setpoint , is that right ?
but i want boiler will off whenever water temperature that goes to boiler reached 80C , can i use
energymanagement:sensor ( for outlet water temperature from boiler ) and energymanagement:actutor:plant componnet , on/off supervisory (fror boiler ) to acheive my desire (off the burner of boiler when its outlet temperature reached 80C) but i dont know it calling point ?

thanks

That's the old file name. Benchmark* files have been renamed to
RefBldg*. See RefBldgSmallOfficeNew2004_Chicago.idf.
