That was not a very clear answer, to a good question that I am now curios about. I just had a computer made for me to handle the most rigorous of simulations and am working on getting jE+ onto Amazon EC2 so feel that simulation time is unimportant. The question however is important, if you are doing a solar heat gain and daylighting study, especially because the two are a trade off. More daylighting brings more solar gain, a good thing in the cold season and 
additional   cooling in the hot season. The reson to use such a feature could be to see if more energy is used to offset the additional interior solar gain from the dayligting. This seems like the perfect application for the comprehensive nature of E+.. I will try an experiment and send my findings. Also if anyone has successfully ran such a simulation it would be great to have pointers...
