[EnergyPlus_Support] commercial reference buildings - revised w/ HVACTemplates?

Hi All,

Has anyone revised a Commercial Ref Building IDF to model a different HVAC system type?

I'm looking for the most simple way to use the Com Ref Bldgs as a "basis" upon which to model a variety of diff HVAC systems. The purpose is to compare peak demand and annual energy use for typical buildings and system combinations.

I've already received one good suggestion from the E+ Tech Support. But I need to cast a wide net as time is short. Wondering if some from the larger community could chime in w/ their own experience or suggestion.

Note, my experienc level w/ E+ includes the last 5 days of tinkering w/ one of the ref bldg idfs and the "Getting Started" Exercise re: HVACTemplates. So, I'm pretty clueless.

thanks a million,
Will
