Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] frost/freeze error





Figure out why the coil outlet temperature is so cold. I believe the first error shows coil inlet temperature, so check to see if it is reasonable. A DX coil usually has about a 10C delta T across the coil, so the inlet must be around 10C. Why is the coil operating when you already have 10C air available to supply to the zone? Is this ZoneHVAC or AirloopHVAC? What system type are you using? Is an economizer available? etc, etc.
