[EnergyPlus_Support] Extending EnergyPlus examples to multiple buildings ?

By default , Energy Plus contains an example of a chiller connected to a single
building with multiple zones. I want to modify the IDF for this example and
extend it to the case where I have a central chiller plant serving multiple
buildings (instead of one).

(1) What is the easiest way to accomplish this ? - If I just copy+paste the idf
part for a single building multiple times then will it work ? Or do I need to
modify the piping scheme for the chiller to work with multiple buildings

(2) Are there any tutorials available for this specific task ?

(3) if we forget the chiller for the time being and just want to extend a single
building example to a multiple (identical) building scenario then how do we go
about doing this ?

Thanks
Madhur
