RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] water heater





A good program usually check the validity of input values.
 
You have entered  0. for the load range1 upper limit.  This is obviously not correct.  (No heater )
 
Try 0.001 or 100  and see if that make a difference.  You may see the difference at the start of the heater.  If you do not use the DHWater, the effect of a smaller heater may not be visible. 
 
Autosize may over write this as well.

PlantEquipmentOperation doesnt effect on water heater ?

in the example file of WaterHeaterDHWPlantloop.idf i set load range1 upper limit :0 in the PlantEquipmentOperation:HeatingLoad class,
but i see no diffrence in the result .

could ant one describe it why this happen ?
