[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: DOAS without return/relier air



I mean the ZoneMixing or ZoneCrossMixing objects (p554 pdf input/output referance guide).

If you are doing a multizone bulk nodal airflow analysis for a LEED increased ventilation credit, then you have to have a AFN (air flow network) in which case the above solution is not for you as these rates are not calculated, they are input by the user.

If you had to use an AFN, you would define more than one leakage paths and then possibly have to virtually split your zone where your AHU air enters and the rest of the zone and then use a zonecrossmixing object to inject the supply air into your main zone, so that the exhaust air is not exhausted back to the AHU (if there is no exhaust).

This sort of work around requires a bit of thinking and doing.
