The image is very helpful! (and the E+ Yahoo forum accepts these when sent as an email attachment) I am not sure why you care about the warnings; often they are given only to make sure that you are aware of a non-standard construction, not because it’s incorrect. I think you should retain the correct geometry for heat transfer and solar orientation. p.s., This is called “sawtooth” construction in the USA and was very common 50 years ago, but uncommon today. It certainly lets in a lot of light!
