[EnergyPlus_Support] HAVACTemplate:Zone:IdealLoadsAirSystem without humidification and dehumidificati

Hi All,

I am trying to run EnergyPlus for early design phase assessment of natural ventilation. Prior to v7 I was using AirflowNetwork in conjunction with HVACTemplate:Zone:IdealLoadAirSystem without any problem.

With the new expanded version of IdealLoadAirSystem, the HVACTemplate is transformed by default with humidification and dehumidification control. This in conjunction with natural ventilation leads to enormous energy consumption.

Would it be possible to change this default behaviour such that I can still use the very convenient HVACTemplate??

I was thinking of running expandobjects and then change the de/humidifiction fields in the .expidf. However, I run energyplus as batch on multiple platforms and I'd love to have a simpler solution.

Thanks a lot in advance for any answer.

Kind Regards,
julien
