RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Irregular Scheduling

It's described under the Input Item
 RunperiodControl:SpecialDays.

Probably also in the DaylightSavingTime object.

Dear Linda,
I thought I recalled seeing the ?3rd Tuesday in March? approach somewhere in an E+ file, but could not find it in the IO Reference or .IDD (The only 2 places I looked).  Where is the syntax described?

You can create special days -- call them customday1, customday2 and then have your schedules include the customday1 and customday2 schedules that you want.

RunPeriodControl:SpecialDays,
MeetingDay,
3rd Tuesday in March,
1, ! length of special day
CustomDay1;  ! schedule type to use on this special day.

All,

I have a particular zone in my model that holds special after hours events twice a month. Does anyone have a nifty way to schedule a bi-monthly event in energy plus? Thanks,

Luke
